I am taking an embroidery course on line  "With Threaded Needle.com". This is the lovely cap from Shakespeare 's collection at the British Museum. The course started in July ending in Feb 2016.
The designs are painstakingly small to work on, so I go  v e r y  s l o w l y  at it. It will be a piece of art when finished. It is only about 5" high. Royalty wore these caps at night, How uncomfortable

New Shawl

I have just finished this red shawl,. The yarn was given to me eons ago. Slowly but surely, I am clearing my yarn stash and decided to crochet it with ths cotton/rayon yarn. It is huge, I can warp it around me very easily. Feels good to have finished something that was naggin me, the red yarn.

More work done

Since friends have been asking me to let them see my blog, I should at least show what I have been doing. Have made several shawls, mostly for birthdays and Holiday gifting, However, I did forget to photograph those. Here are my fairies though.

This one has her house in a bird cage.

This cutie sits by my computer to keep me company

New Year, new happenings, new friends

It has been ages since I posted anything here, I have had other things going on and have neglected the blog. I am adding some of the dolls and other work that I have been doing, besides taking time to grow vegetables and go to the gym 3 times a week.
